Paints come in different types and manufacturing needs to suit specific objectives and purpose. The question of what type of paint suit your needs and project is as important as the choice of colour of your paint? We have water-based paint design, Oil paint, Emulsion paint, Cellulose paint, Textured (Tex-cote) based paint, Rubber based Paint, and Bitumen based paint. But when it comes to wall painting, perfect wall finish and superb interior and exterior paint decoration, no other paint does it better than tex-cote paint.

Tex-cote paints are water-based paint used for texture coating of walls and varied interior and exterior decoration of our houses, industries, and offices. Texcote paint shows beautiful textures on walls when masterly painted and systematically designed.

So far, the production and demand for tex-cote paint go beyond boundaries and location. Its well-refined coating texture makes the demand for it on the high side because it is economically viable, challenge it peers, and have good market value, above all it is a worthy business venture.

How then can I produce Tex-cote paint? Below is a step by step process and raw material needed for the production of texcote paint.

Marketing tex-cote paint products can be very easy and non-challenging as almost every home around you has its demand, as old and new residential buildings owners, including renovated structures, preference tex-cote paint for their painting purpose and use.

  5. Measuring cylinder

PROCEDURE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF TEX-COTE PAINT
  1. Rinse the reactor and discharge the H2O through the filtration tap
  2. Measure our 200 liters of H2O (i.e. 10 buckets), if you are to use 7 bags of CaCO3, pour subsequently 60 liters of H2O (i.e. 3 buckets) behind.
  3. Measure out 15kg of Titanium dioxide (TiO2) and pour it inside the reaction.
  4. Arrange 7 bags of CaCO3: subsequently, pour 3 bags on the reaction. Hence start the reactor to mix the above-mentioned raw material after which you add the remaining 7 bags in the reactor.
  5. Measure out 30kg of kaolin and transfer to the reactor.
  6. Measure out 30kg polyvinyl acetate (PVA) into a vessel and pour subsequently into the reactor. Measure out 10 liters of H2O (i.e. half bucket) to rinse the vessel used in pouring the PVA in the reaction. Hence after rinsing pour H2O into reaction Arrange a bag of smooth marble dust and pour subsequently 10 liters of H2O (i.e. half bucket) into the reaction to avoid stiffening the reactor.
  7. Arrange the bag of rough marble dust and pour subsequently another 10 liters of H2O into the reaction.
  8. Weight 3kg of thickener (natrosol) and dissolve in 10 liters of H2O and pour the mixture into the reactor while the reactor is still on.
  9. Finally measure out 60mls of formalin (CH2O), 60mls of Ammonia (NH3 (aq) on to the vessel, shake properly and allow the mixture to thicken for 15 minutes in the reactor. Stop the reactor and run-off the mixture through the filtration tap.
  10. Then package ready for marketing.
